British heavy metal band Iron Maiden formed in 1976. They released their self-titled debut album in 1980 which earned them a dedicated fan base. After singer Paul Di'Anno left the band, vocalist Bruce Dickinson joined and over the next ten years released numerous albums which received much acclaim in Britain as well as in the US.
